Day in the Park

Celebrating the City of Morrow’s 65^th Anniversary!

Day in the Park took place in Milton Daniel Park in Morrow on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This year, the City of Morrow celebrated its 65^th anniversary. Exhibits from various city departments and businesses were on display with information about what has happened in Morrow, what is happening now in Morrow, and what will be happening in Morrow. The entertainment featured Crystal & the Cruizers with appearances by the Atlanta Festival Ballet, Herb Jones, Sylvia Redic, and NAJUMA. Delicious BBQ was provided by Morrow First United Methodist Church. Kids of all ages enjoyed carnival games, the rock wall, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and rides on Morrow’s Lil General Train.
