Celebrating the 1970’s

Here’s the skinny!

P.R.O.U.D. neighborhoods joined in the friendly competition of dressing up their booths in the funky 1970’s theme on Saturday, May 7, 2006. Delicious plates of barbeque were served by Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill, and the entertainment was provided by Crystal & the Cruizers. This event kicked off the P.R.O.U.D. Neighborhood season. P.R.O.U.D. stands for Protected, Respected, Organized, Unified, and Desirable.

Cash prizes, ribbons, and signs were awarded to the winning neighborhoods. Congratulations to the following neighborhoods!
