SummerFest on the Green 2008

The City of Morrow’s SummerFest on the Green 2008 took place on Saturday, June 28. It was a fun-filled evening for families, city residents, and visitors to the city. The evening included games for children, a rock wall, and thrilling performances by Crystal & the Cruizers and The Party Nation. Food was provided by Truett’s Grill, The Grand Gourmet, Wal-Mart, and Rocky’s Pizza. New for this year’s SummerFest was the CASI Chili Cook-Off, which brought chili cooks from all around the state for an unforgettable competition. The evening concluded with metro Atlanta’s best fireworks extravaganza. This year’s attendance exceeded 4,000 adults and children.
