The City of Morrow’s SummerFest on the Green 2009 took place on Saturday, June 27. It was a fun-filled evening for families, city residents, and visitors to the city. The evening included games for children, a rock wall, and performances by “The Willie Nelson Tribute Show” featuring Marion Deaton and the Smooth Willie Show Band. “The Sensational Sounds of Motown” also performed for the corwd of over 4,500 people. Food was provided by Truett’s Grill, Wal-Mart, Rangler’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Ken Chase Concessions, Granny’s Old Country Lemonade, Gezzo’s Surf & Grille, and Rocky’s Café & Pizza.
